According to a TOI report, a great news coming out that the first session of JEE Main 2024 would take place in the third week of January & the second session in April.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) Delhi is planning to conduct Joint Entrance Examination JEE Main 2024 for pre-engineering aspirants from the 3rd week of January as per a Times of India report. The National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) UG 2023 will be taken on May 5, officials said.
Joint Entrance Exam i.e. JEE Main is a mandatory entrance test for admission to first-year engineering courses. JEE Main is also a qualifying exam to appear for JEE Advanced – the popular entrance test for admission to IITs, NITs, and some other premium institutions. JEE Main is conducted in two sessions (two attempts), in multiple sessions, and on multiple dates. The JEE Main 2024 registration and exam dates would be announced in the first few days of the next week, a top NTA official told TOI. The tests will most likely take place in the third week of January and the second week of April.
The TOI article also stated that the testing organization would once again start the registration period for the second session. For admission to engineering programs given by engineering institutions across the nation, such as B.Tech, B.E., B.Arch, and B Planning, NTA administers the JEE Main exam.
