The most awaited decision on JEE Main and NEET 2020 and IIT JEE Exams postponement has been declared. Yesterday on 3rd July Union HRD Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal ji cleared all doubts about the JEE and NEET Exams in a Live Video Conference.
HRD Minister Cleared that
“Keeping in mind the safety of students and to ensure quality education we have decided to postpone #JEE & #NEET examinations. JEE Main examination will be held between 1st-6th Sept, JEE advanced exam will be held on 27th Sept & NEET examination will be held on 13th Sept.”
This is third time when exam postponed due to corona virus pandemic. Originally, JEE Main was scheduled between April 7 and April 11, and NEET on May 3. But again and again it is rescheduled because the situation i the same. Parent and students also demanded for the postponement of the exams.
NTA also released separate notifications for NEET and JEE Main for Corrections in Application Forms and Admit Card details.
According to official notification
“On demand from various candidates regarding correction in Candidate Particulars & choice of Centre Cities in Online Application Forms for JEE Main 2020 & NEET-UG 2020, the facility for corrections will be operational on official websites of NEET & JEE Main respectively from 4th – 15th July. For further details and latest updates HRD minister request to students and parents for keep an eye on official websites.
Total 9 lakh candidates have registered for JEE Main and approximately 16 lakh for NEET. According to sources in the National Testing Agency (NTA), JEE (Main) results would be announced mid-September and NEET results are expected in the first week of October.
