JEE Main 2021 Pending 3rd Attempt and 4th Attempts Exam Dates Released. Application Window Opened.

JEE Main 2021 Exam Dates Update:
The Ministry of Education & NTA has declared final dates of pending JEE Main (April and May) sessions 2021. The 3rd session will be conducted from July 20-25, while 4th attempt will be held from July 27-August 2.

The Education Minister Sh. Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ came live on social media today and announced the exam schedule of JEE Main 2021 3rd and 4th attempt exam. The April session of JEE Main 2021 will be conducted from July 20-25. The fourth and last session of JEE Main 2021 (May session) will be conducted from July 27-August 2. NTA also released the official notification on the official website and online registration process has been started.

The registration window has reopened for candidates who could not apply for the exams earlier.  Candidates can apply at jeemain.nta.nic.in. According to NTA, a total of 6.80 lakh candidates have already been registered for JEE Main April 2021. For the May session, 6.09 candidates have registered. The registration number is executed to go higher as the application windows have been reopened for both April and May sessions.

The number of cities has also been increased from 232 to 334 to ensure Covid-19 safety procedures. The number of examination centres in every shift will also be increased from 660 to 828. All related latest COVID-19 guidelines and protocols will be followed at all examination centers.

In addition, the following measures will be taken by the NTA –

  • Face masks will be provided to all the candidates.
  • The common places, furniture & fixtures, all the computers and seats will be sanitized before and after the exams. Any computer set used in one shift will not be used in the next shift.
  • To avoid the crowd at the examination center entrance due to candidates reaching together, they will be given staggered time slots for reporting. The staggering of time slots will be done to ensure uniform distribution of candidates across rooms during entry at the examination centers.
  • The registration process at the examination will be contactless.
  • Candidates will be guided to their allocated seats ensuring that social distancing is maintained.
  • The examinations rooms, halls where the examination will be conducted will have open windows and fans for proper air circulation.
  • All the candidates who are appearing in the examination centre would be seated following social distancing norms.
